A BRAZILIAN NATIONAL MEDIATION
AND ARBITRATION INSTITUTE

INAMA is a Brazilian private and independent non-profit organization, providing assistance through the use of alternative dispute resolutions - Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration, to companies or individuals.

The Institute was founded in 1991, with technical support from the AAA - American Arbitration Association – Mr. Allan Silberman-VP for Training and the FMCS – Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services – Mr. Brian Flores and Mr. Jim Powell.

In order to attend to a raising demand, in a pioneer effort, INAMA has continuously been providing courses, seminars and lectures, throughout the Country, promoting the Alternative Dispute Resolution - ADR culture in Brazil by developing professionals from several areas, to become Mediators and Arbitrators, whenever selected by the parts.

It is also dedicated to offer to the Brazilian society a neutral/impartial and independent Chamber of Mediation and Arbitration, formed by a roll of well respected and specialized Mediators and Arbitrators, with no connection or commitment with company associations, union or other professional segments.
